Mango is called "The King of fruits" due to its sweetness and richness 
 
in phytochemicals and nutritionally rich fruit with unique flavor, fragrance, taste, and heath promoting qualities making it a common ingredient in new functional foods often called “super fruits”.
Mango contains some nutrient:
  • Mangoes are rich in antioxidants such as beta-carotene and vitamin C.
  • Mango contains Vitamin A and Vitamin B6, B, K.
  • Mangoes also supply nutrients such as potassium, Calcium, magnesium, and zinc, and fiber and are low in calories.
  • Mango peel and pulp also contain carotenoids, polyphenols, and antioxidants’.
  • Mangoes are very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium. Plus is a good source of dietary fiber.
Uses:
  • It contains insoluble fiber; it helps the elimination of waste from the colon and prevents constipation.
  • The tartaric acid, malic acid, and a trace of citric acid found in the fruit help to maintain the alkali reserve of the body.
  • A milk-mango shake used in the summers help people gain weight.
  • Mango is high in iron, pregnant women and people with anemia are advised to eat this fruit regularly.
  • It is also contain valuable to combat acidity and poor digestion
